On the majority of boats, multi-fuel stoves are the primary source of heat, Ship Shape Stove Services Ltd provides an essential stove care service where it was not previously available in this way. Our founder is a trained HETAS service and maintenance engineer and is looking to expand the team to cater for the increase in demand in this ever-growing community. HETAS is the national organisation working for consumer safety and the wider public interest in safe, efficient, and environmentally responsible use of solid fuel stoves. Our focus is to offer a quality service, be available for our clients to ask questions, understand the needs and requirements of boaters, be punctual, clear with our pricing, most of all to be as honest and as helpful as possible to everybody who approaches us for help or advice.
Job Description
Ship Shape Stove Services Ltd are based in Harlow and are looking for a self-employed, with a view to become permanent, start-up who is keen to learn a new trade and help build the business within the vibrant boating community based in the Watford area to cover the London, Oxford, Hertfordshire, Northampton area.
You will undertake a training period of 4-6 weeks to bring you up to the Ship Shape standard, once trained you will be required to work independently to service and maintain multifuel stoves, building up your knowledge and confidence over time to complete full installations.
As a small business it is imperative that all team members are adaptable and flexible to business needs with a real focus on being part of a team, contributing towards the growth of the company.

Rate of Pay & Benefits
Circa £27,000 - £30,000
